- Check your notebook and make sure it comes with an EXPRESS T interface which the EDGE modem requires
- Insert SIM card correctly
- Turn on your notebook and install ST860T manager software from the driver CD provided
- Insert EDGE modem into a free EXPRESS T slot when prompted to complete driver installation
- You can connect to the network, make a call and send a message by clicking the ST860T icon on your desktop
